So I make animations now

Because why not, right? I saw some mixed media videos pop up on my social media feed and thought they looked cool so I gave it a try. It’s super fun! I went out and filmed a goose on my phone, extracted 8 frames per second from the video, printed it out on paper then added my little anti-AI rant. Propagander. The goose sounds come from a free-to-use library. The video software is Davinci Resolve, also free. I did not compensate the goose.

I’ve learnt many things from this first attempt.

1) Stamping is fun but way more time-consuming that either writing the words or typing them in digitally.

2) If text is going to be fizzing, I should pace it a bit slower to give viewers time to parse all the words.

3) A lot of the videos I’ve seen have been decorative additions to music videos. If I want to make more propaganda I should try ambitious things like rotoscoping, background layers, and creating a full soundtrack, potentially with my own voice.
